DWG takes ownership of Nuvico trademark brand rights

Long Island, NY (January 1st, 2017) DWG (www.dwgdistribution.com) has recently closed a deal to purchase the rights to the Nuvico trademark and brand related assets. Throughout the years the Nuvico brand has become known as a value proposition for security integrators through the United States and global markets. With a clear focus on quality manufacturing, while remaining price competitive, Nuvico products can be found in a variety of markets from airports, retail, residential, education, government, and more. DWG plans to release brand new product lines in the coming months, and will be offering an upgrade path for existing Nuvico product users that may have felt stranded by the closing of the Nuvico corporation by its original owners.

“In a rapidly changing landscape, DWG can better deliver Nuvico branded products to its loyal dealer and commercial customer base.” said DWG CEO Sal Visone.

DWG has successfully restored Nuvico DDNS service and will continue to host this free to ensure that existing Nuvico DVRs and NVRs are able to function even though many of these units were purchased through legacy distribution sales channels.

New Configuration Tool Now Available 
In order to make the set up and configuration of your system simpler and more streamlined, ISONAS is releasing a brand new configuration tool.  This tool allows you to discover your ISONAS hardware devices across subnets, configure them to the appropriate cloud instance, and check your connection to Pure Access to ensure communication is available outside of your site to the internet. Update on DBCrystal End of Life Support
As many of you are aware, ISONAS announced the end of life for DBCrystal and EasyWeb 2015 and we wanted to update all of you on the details of the legacy support program referred to below.

DBCrystal and EasyWeb 2015 Key Dates

• April 1, 2017         No new installs of DBCrystal or EasyWeb 2015
• October 1, 2017    End of no-charge support for certified integrators.  All support will require a specific Legacy Product Support contract vaild through March 31,2018.
• March 31, 2018     End of technical support for DBCrystal and EasyWeb 2015

As of May 1, our current Annual Tech Support Program and One Time Case Support will only be offered on Pure Access Products. If you are an end user and require DBCrystal Support, this support is available on a paid case by case basis, there is no annual support program for DBCrystal.  If you have an existing Annual Support Program and are using DBCrystal and EasyWeb 2015 ISONAS will honor that through the end of the contract or until March 31, 2018. 

October 1, 2017, will mark the end of no-charge support for certified integrators.  If support is required from October 1 through March 31, 2018, there is an integrator specific program available for support that will span the full 6 month period and cover all sites that require support.

Starting January 1, 2017, any new GeoVision camera purchased from an authorized reseller will include the "Worry Free Warranty" as supplement to the standard warranty. There is no additional charge nor action required to register for the Worry Free Warranty, which adds the following:

For the first 90 days, starting from the date on the invoice, GeoVision will extend the standard warranty to cover damages otherwise excluded, such as damages resulting from accidental misuse and water exposure. GeoVision retains the exclusive right to repair or replace (at the manufacturer's discretion) the camera with a comparable model. This warranty applies exclusively toward GeoVision cameras and does not cover cosmetic wear, lost or stolen product, or damage to personal property or contents. Our associates can answer any questions you may have concerning the repair or refurbishing of your GeoVision product.
