Altronix highlights ReServ Series uninterruptible power supplies

Altronix is highlighting its comprehensive lines of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions here at ASIS 2010. Altronix ReServ Series UPS solutions combine a high quality power supply with a UPS in a single highly cost-effective solution. The series includes the ReServ1, ReServ2 and ReServ3 in indoor and outdoor units which are designed to provide simultaneous 12VDC, 24VAC or both camera power during normal, brown out and power outage conditions.

"Our ReServ Series UPS solutions help ensure continuous operation of video surveillance systems 24/7/365," said Alan Forman, President, Altronix. "They provide an economical and reliable solution to help eliminate the effects of power disturbances in mission critical operations."

The ReServ1 offers 12 outputs at 24VAC (rated @ 4 amps) and four outputs at 12VDC (rated @ 2 amps) while the ReServ2 features 16 outputs at 24VAC (rated @ 4 amps). Newest to the ReServ Series portfolio is the ReServ3, which features 16 outputs at 12VDC (rated @ 8 amps). The units are engineered with true sine-wave AC regulated outputs as well as 12VDC regulated outputs to provide reliable and high quality power. To assure smooth transition to back-up power in the event of a power outage condition, the ReServ Series features built-in chargers for sealed lead acid or gel-type batteries, and an audible alarm to provide notification of a UPS condition.

Additional features of the ReServ Series include supervisory status indicators, AC fail and low battery reporting. The units will also maintain camera synchronization, eliminating the need for additional equipment. Additionally, the units are easy to install which helps save time and reduce costly labor.

NOW AVAILABLE! Cash Register to video interface for HD-TVI,AHD, & HD-CVI

New Cash Register to video interface from AVE for HD-TVI, AHD, & HD-CVI

As long as there have been employees, there has been employee theft!

Roughly 1 out of 3 employees will steal every chance they get. Another 1 out of 3 will steal at least once. The problem for a business owner is that they cannot tell which employee steals and which one is honest by looking at the surveillance video.

Since 1988, American Video Equipment (AVE) has been supplying the security industry with the VSI-Pro Cash Register to video interface. The 1st generation VSIPro was for CVBS or composite video.  The VSIPro is solution for restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, general retail, newsstands, bars, and any other place that has a cash register.

The VSIPro works by superimposing the transaction information on the video so that there is no doubt as to what the cashier is doing. Without a VSIPro there is no way to tell if the cashier is stealing or not!

The AVE VSIPro is currently in use by Fast Food Restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Subway, Quiznos, Auntie Anne’s, and more. Gas Station/Convenience store chains like Exxon, Chevron, Valero, Unocal 76, Arco-AM/PM, Sunoco, 7-11 and many more.

Other business types that utilize the AVE VSIPro include: Grocery Stores, Casinos, Banks (money counters) Thrift shops, Hair Salons, Bars, Restaurants, Golf Pro Shops, Gift Shops, General Retail, snack bars, rental car companies, Sporting Goods Stores, Bait and Tackle shops and more.

In May of this year we released the 1st ever cash register to video interface compatible with HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD, & CBVS . The all new VSIPro-HD is compatible with hundreds of different cash registers and POS systems.

The VSIPro-HD will pay for itself in a matter of weeks in most cases by helping a business owner identify dishonest employees quickly.
